Why I Do What I Do: My Journey to DLT Visions

Life has a way of shaking you awake when you least expect it. For me, that wake-up call was breast cancer. Facing my own mortality changed everything. It made me realise that life is too short to wait, to hide, or to play small. It taught me that the time to show up as yourself, unapologetically and with confidence, is right now.

Before I started DLT Visions, I spent years working as a humanitarian aid worker, travelling the world and supporting people in crisis. It was meaningful work, but deep down, I knew I wanted to build something of my own, something that would give me the freedom to live life on my terms while making a real impact.

Then in 2018 cancer happened. It turned my world upside down, stripped away any illusions of invincibility, and left me with one undeniable truth: waiting for the ‘perfect’ time is a waste. There is no perfect time. There is only now. And if you’re not showing up for yourself and your dreams today, when will you?

That’s why I created DLT Visions, to help women in business stop waiting and start showing up. 

I work with coaches in the creative, health, and well-being fields who know they need to be visible but struggle with confidence, consistency, or simply not wanting to be on social media at all.

I get it. Putting yourself out there can feel daunting. The fear of judgement, imposter syndrome, and the pressure to be ‘perfect’ can keep you stuck. But I also know what happens when you step past that fear, when you decide to show up anyway. Your business grows. Your confidence builds. You attract the right people who need exactly what you offer.

With my background in social media strategy and personal brand photography, I help women not just get visible, but feel good about it. Whether it’s through branding, content strategy, or photography, my goal is to make sure you show up in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

Since launching DLT Visions in 2023, I’ve helped over 30 women take control of their visibility and build businesses they love. And I’m just getting started.
